For
the past two years, the Gift of Life has been blessed with an
exceptional volunteer to drive the Coachmen RV for the
1,000-Mile Run. Toni Pleines is one of the unsung heroes of
the run.
When
he boarded the airplane to come to America, Ayub wanted to
know where the holes were in the bottom of the plane where the
bombs come out of. Click

Our

item with only 1,000 made! Proceeds from these adorable bears
helps us save children. Help us find 1,000 adoptive parents
for these huggable little guys!

District 3200 with their first two children.
I
commend all who have taken time to join the Gift of Life
Walk/Run, especially in light of the recent tragedy in New
York. I know it must be difficult to concentrate on the
matters at hand, knowing of all the hardships that are being
experienced by many families in the New York City area.
And
yet, the GOL run may be just the vehicle to help our country
come together and present a solidarity never seen before. It
reinforces our need to understand our neighbors who live in
other countries and hopefully breakdown the barriers of
ignorance, hatred and envy.
The
mission of the Gift of Life is to build bridges of friendship
throughout the world. Let's continue to build those bridges
while we help children of all nations.
