IN MEMORIAM

Chad Everett
It is with deepest sympathy that we at Gift of Life Inc. Rotary District 7250 mourn the passing of our beloved, National Spokesperson, Chad Everett.

Chad, with his late wife Shelby, and daughters, Kate and Shannon, have given generously of their time and financial commitment to many causes.

We recognize Chad for his many philanthropic endeavors, including personally saving the lives of 30 children by providing funds for their open-heart surgeries, and in many instances being present with them during their recovery.

A popular actor, remembered as Dr. Gannon to many Medical Center fans, Chad was a fantastic father, grandfather and mentor to many actors beginning their careers. He was a true friend with a selfless persona; he most recently attended our Gift of Life, Inc. Crusade of the Heart Gala where we paid tribute to his late wife, Shelby. An angel among us here on Earth, they are now angels watching down on us from heaven, together.

Forever in our hearts,
The Officers and Board of Directors of The Gift of Life, Inc.
A Project of Rotary District 7250

The development of this website was possible due to the generosity of Linda and Jay Edmond Russ of Lloyd Harbor, New York. In 1983, Linda and Jay lost their first child to hypoplastic left heart syndrome in which the heart’s left side, including the aorta, aortic valve, left ventricle and mitral valve are underdeveloped. Their gift helps support Gift of Life, Inc., which undertakes to identify children with congenital heart defects in developing countries. These children ultimately become candidates for treatment. Jay is a member of the Board of Directors of EmblemHealth.
